HomePatriot DispatchesThe Real Reason for the Showdown in Madison

The Real Reason for the Showdown in Madison

Oh, ye who are so quick to judge.  Do not presume to know what is in men’s hearts.  The real reason for the showdown in Wisconsin had nothing to do with collective bargaining , wages or benefits.  It was a gathering place and focal point to drive home the fact that only educators are our last best hope, and for that reason they must be attended to.  They are the ones who really, truly care.

One very illustrative example is that of the case of what mothers in Chicago are trying to do to their children – poison them. By packing their lunch.

At his public school, Little Village Academy on Chicago’s West Side, students are not allowed to pack lunches from home. Unless they have a medical excuse, they must eat the food served in the cafeteria.

Yes, dear children, we’re sorry to have to tell you this, but your mothers just don’t have your best interests at heart. You know what Arne Duncan and Michelle Obama have been saying about the absolute necessity of children getting as many meals at their public schools as possible, don’t you? So what good does it do if your mothers keep sending you things to eat at school that are nothing but fillers and poison? So explain to them, dear ones, that this is a Federal Policy and we are trying to do our part.

Principal Elsa Carmona said her intention is to protect students from their own unhealthful food choices.

…..and of course from their unfit, uncaring mothers…….

“Nutrition wise, it is better for the children to eat at the school,” Carmona said. “It’s about the nutrition and the excellent quality food that they are able to serve (in the lunchroom). It’s milk versus a Coke. But with allergies and any medical issue, of course, we would make an exception.”

In a totally unrelated matter, would anyone be surprised to know that President Barack Obama has, among many other “councils”, a White House Council on Community Solutions. He is, after all, a former ‘community organizer’ in…..Chicago, past and off-and-on current haunt of his good friend and Secretary of Education Arne Duncan.

Kristin Richmond, Member, White House Council for Community Solutions

Kristin also served as a Vice President at RISE, a nonprofit dedicated to recruiting and retaining quality teachers. She also played a large role in expanding the organization from the San Francisco Bay Area to CHICAGO and Los Angeles. Ms. Richmond is a board member of many organizations, including U.C .Berkeley’s Global Social Venture Competition.

Kristin Groos Richmond is the Founder and CEO of Revolution Foods.

You say you want a revolution? Well, you know, we want to help you by helping you to eat healthy. Revolution Foods is a purveyor of ……….nutritious…….school …………..lunches.
See, it takes much more than a village to raise a child. It takes a whole movement. But you still gotta pay the rent.

p.s. Once it becomes standard practice for children to be forc welcomed into institutions of learning at age 2 to 2.5, for the duration,  this problem of them bringing things from home will cease to exist.  Nothing will be brought from the home, including memory.

  1. Where do they get the balls….?
Who do they think they are ?
If they want to cut down on obesity then let them start with their own faculty. I bet half their teachers are overweight but for some reason I don’t think the principal pushes them around like she does the children and the parents.
