Liberty Over Tyranny: Wisconsin Edition

So much more happened in Wisconsin then just a vote for a Supreme Court Justice. The people were abused and treated like second class citizens by unions, and they rebelled. To have those whom you pay with your tax dollars demanding that you support them or they would put you business out of business is the stuff of WWII communist, fascist history. If it was shocking to the rest of us out here in America reading about it, I can only imagine what it was like being the victim of it. The people of Wisconsin said enough is quite enough, and they rejected the tyranny of the few over the liberty of the masses The TEA Party Is America, Period.

I guess I wrote too soon when in a blogpost earlier today I said that the tea partiers had been defeated by the teacher unions in the Wisconsin state Supreme Court race. The Examiner’s Philip Klein and the Weekly Standard’s Stephen Hayes now report that Republican Supreme Court Justice David Prosser has picked up a net of 7,000 votes inadvertently unreported previously by the Waukesha County clerk. I can understand that some Democrats are wondering whether this is some kind of fraud, but the clerk, a partisan Republican, had no motive to withhold the votes until now and it should be easy to determine whether the 14,000 votes from the whole city of Brookfield were not included in the original count. And I don’t think anyone is going to argue that everyone in Wisconsin should be able to have their votes counted except the residents of Brookfield. The heavy majority for Prosser among the Brookfield votes should be no surprise: the previously reported returns from Waukesha County, suburban territory west of Milwaukee, showed Prosser leading Democrat Jo Ann Kloppenburg 73%-27%.

The takeaway is that Americans are finally standing up for that which is their birthright, FREEDOM! There are Countries around the world who look to us with envy because of our freedoms. There are elites in DC who look to Communist Countries with envy because they want to control all of us. We, The People, reject that thinking and will replace those who believe in it.

Unfortunately, as always, the tyrants and their minions didn’t get the message:
“The mysterious, and arguably timely, discovery of ballots on a personal computer appears to be the latest example of Governor Walker and his friends unfairly using the levers of government to silence Wisconsin voters…this is yet another reminder of the lengths this administration will travel to side with partisan politicians and corporate donors rather than Wisconsinites.”- SEIU Press Release 4/8/11

“But in order to steal the election, they NEED to be able to keep a recount from occurring, because a recount would expose their attempted fraud to the light of day…They will do EVERYTHING they can to make sure NO ONE checks the paper trail. Because the paper trail will be the nail in their coffin. We must not let them succeed in this attempted fraud.” – Daily Kos “Why Prosser Needed EXACTLY 7500+ votes…” 4/7/11

“It stretches the bounds of credibility to think that over 14,300 votes were somehow “overlooked” until two days after the election.”- Sen. Mark Miller (D-Madison) 4/7/11
“Tuesday, the people of Wisconsin took away David Prosser’s seat on the Supreme Court. And yesterday, the Waukesha County Clerk, Kathy Nickolaus, served as Prosser’s sleazy accomplice trying to steal it back.”- One Wisconsin Now 4/8/11

“Wisconsin is facing the largest potential election fraud case perpetrated in the history of this state and law enforcement must act immediately.”- Scot Ross, Executive Director of One Wisconsin Now 4/8/11

    • Well luckily they can say whatever they want in print, the law is the law and he won. He will be seated and they will reject the leftist judge who has stopped the bill from being implemented. The biggest win of all is that with all of the money that the unions and Soros’ groups spent they still LOST. November 2010 was the first peek at their waning power and this just is the icing on the cake, the topper will be November of 2012!

      • Agree, Jaded, the law is the law. However…
We live in a sound-byte society where people readily accept what they have been told is “Truth.” Tens of thousands of sheeple displayed a remarkably ignorant view of what Democracy looks like. MSM does/did nothing to point that out (would have been very surprised had they done so). Barca comments, w/o basis, that vote wasn’t legal on “Union” bill. Lib judge stays a law that hasn’t yet become a law. I could go on and on re: law…
Yes, the union/Soros money is spent and gone with a loss but they have very deep pockets.
WI has a real possibility of going “Greece” with this.
US Justice Dept under Holder has shown a deep, abiding respect for the law [sarcasm]. I feel confident that any response will be totally unbiased [again, sarcasm].
Look at the view of rhetoric after AZ and how the lib blinders were on in WI.
I agree, 2012 will be interesting but I fear that truth may not prevail. Libs will be out cheating in force and they control all of the watchdogs; MSM & Justice.
Sites such as this do well in getting out fact based truths but we are preaching to a choir of the faithful.
The message needs to be sent again and again to the rest of the country.
        Sorry, I kinda babbled.

  2. Jaded, I’m really glad that the people of WI chose to make their voices heard through this vote. The Unions can try to spin it however they want to, but they do NOT totally and completely represent the interests of all the people in the WI and the people let them know it, too.

    • You know everyone says how WI was the home of progressivism but I have to say that to me that WI is the home to whatever the opposite is that the federal government is doing. They are “progressive” in that they don’t follow the standard line that is being pushed on them via the feds.

    • lineholder, the minority vote/inner city cheating machine didn’t come into play like it did on ’08.
We won this time but the fight is still a long, never ending one.
Besides, to Dane County, they are WI! Nothing worth having exists outside their county lines…
