Dawn Bobo of Union Grove, Wisconsin says she used to be just a mild mannered shop owner. That changed when she found herself threatened by thuggish union tactics.
Several weeks ago five union ladies came calling on behalf of AFSCME. They wanted Bobo to put a sign in her shop window supporting the union in their struggle against Wisconsin’s new law which limits public employee’s collective bargaining rights. Bobo politely refused and thought that was the end of it until a letter from the union arrived threatening a public boycot against her shop.
The threat turned the mild mannered grandmother into a self descibed mama-bear ready to rumble in defense of her business. Watch the FOX video (h/t Cold Warrior):
Bam! You have to love this woman. She fights! Her courage has given the unionistas some serious heartburn. They know when they have been ripped by a mama-bear grandma. Good stood up to evil and evil blinked (h/t Vassar Bushmills):
Marty Beil, executive director of American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees Council 24, said there is no boycott in an email Friday.
“There was some unfortunate overzealousness in the field,” the email read. “We have made clear all along that we see small business as a partner and ally in getting Wisconsin back to work.” h/t Wisconsin State Journal
What a whopper. If these public unions really supported small business, they would relent in their pursuit of ridiculous pay and benefit packages which will bankrupt the state of Wisconsin. A bankrupt state is not small business friendly.
