Busted: Planned Parenthood Caught In Mammogram Lie

Live Action, the organization that has documented many cases of deception and illegal activity by Planned Parenthood, has released a new video today. In this latest bombshell, Live Action demonstrates that Planned Parenthood does NOT, in fact, provide mammograms. This is directly in conflict with the talking points of those who want to keep funding Planned Parenthood with our tax dollars. It also catches the CEO of Planned Parenthood, Cecile Richards, in a flat out lie.

In the tapes, a Live Action actor calls 30 Planned Parenthood clinics in 27 different states, inquiring about mammograms at Planned Parenthood. Every Planned Parenthood, without exception, tells her she will have to go elsewhere for a mammogram, and many clinics admit that no Planned Parenthood clinics provide this breast cancer screening procedure. “We don’t provide those services whatsoever,” admits a staffer at Planned Parenthood of Arizona. Planned Parenthood’s Comprehensive Health Center clinic in Overland Park, KS explains to the caller, “We actually don’t have a, um, mammogram machine, at our clinics.”

The Planned Parenthood director turned pro-life advocate, Abby Johnson, notes that the video helps to debunk the myth that Planned Parenthood provides critical services that would be unavailable to the poor should their taxpayer funding be pulled.

Former Planned Parenthood Director Abby Johnson notes that the recordings demonstrate Planned Parenthood is not a comprehensive health care provider. “For so long PP has touted that they are a provider of mammogram services.  This is just one of the lies that PP uses to draw people into their clinics.  PP is not able to provide quality services on their own, so they are forced to lie to the public about services they don’t provide–and mammograms are just one of those services.”

  1. Thanks for this, Takkat. Over a year ago I wrote about Abby Johnson who quit her job as a PP clinic director. She did so after viewing an abortion on ultrasound. But she had been feeling uneasy about her job as she was encouraged to push abortions, PP’s real moneymaker. She began to see her job was not to go with the pregnancy counseling, birth control, and especially not mammograms. She was told to push the abortions in order to make the clinic some money. I’ve been hoping since writing that more former PP directors and employees would come forward with this truth.

Nice to see Abby is still at the forefront of this.

    • Quiet people, quietly achieving miracles. Thank you for posting this, tex. My family was spared the wrong side of this decision of life or abortion back in 1996, and it is people like this young lady in the video who are really making the difference. My family member never even considered the “surgical” option, thank the Lord.

Too many girls and women are not given proper education, and whatever we as a nation can do to eliminate this abomination must be done, in our homes and neighborhoods most of all, but also state-wide and nationally.
