  1. Enjoyed the video, Beagle. Hate to usurp the mood, but I am watching Obama talk about Libya and I cannot tell you what a pathetic spectacle this is. This buffoon is saying the same thing over and over and over again, whining and moaning and telling us how tough he is and how Qadafy must go and how we are withdrawing from leadership, then talking about American leadership. He is arguing with those who say he’s weak and those who say he went too far and it’s just gibberish. He said we are going after Al Quaida, conveniently omitting the fact that Al Quaida is in Eastern Libya. This is head-banging-against-the-wall stuff. Now he’s making ludicrous, inane, disjointed babblings about ‘change’. I very much want to scream.
I am about to the point where I think our focus for a national leader in 2012 is going to have to center on those who, if they don’t already, will quickly come to understand there there is a lot of damage going to have to be repaired in the military, foreign affairs and war on terrorism fronts. Sorry for the rant.

    • He’s trying to pacify his own side of the political spectrum this time, beaglescout. They do NOT like what he has done in making this decision re: Libya, so he has to justify his actions to them somehow and make him believe he is still “the One”.

You’re a better person than I am…I quit listening to him after the third speech.

      • About Obama’s speech, which will take a day of reflection..it was a lie, top to bottom, i.e., the rescue/protection of freedom loving peoples, support of Al Qaeda vs an ordinary middle east thug/dictator, to a complete repudiation of every thing he ever said against Bush and Iraq, regime change and nation buiding.

The very audacity of his lies tells me he never intends to have to face an opponent of inquiring and explain those lies.
