“We reject the use of violence under any circumstances.”

Unlike Obama, I believe that words actually mean something.  So the White House says today, “We reject the use of violence under any circumstances.”

While we bomb Libya.  And fight in the Iraq and the AfPak theaters.   While we possess a military at all.

Now we know that this administration automatically possesses the moral ascendancy in any issue it ever discusses.   Including saying, “We reject the use of violence under any circumstances.”   Alas, folks all across the world who might read these words issued by the White House may not understand that liberal regimes, especially western ones, are politically presumed to never apply violence in an “un-righteous” manner.  That is, if bombing is acknowledged at all to be “violence”. Especially with UN, NATO and Arab League (but not Congressional) “cover”.

It’s a good thing this announcement came from the White House and not the US State Department.

Folks all across the world might become confused.

Hey, it sounded good to the young metrosexual in the West Wing who wrote it.  And it sounded good to his boss.

So it went out.

Will someone please send some adults over to the White House?

  1. 1. Qaddafi has to go.

    Deploy the attacking forces.

    2. Qaddafi might stay. This is not a mission to get rid of Qaddafi.

Start bombing the anti-aircraft installations and the Libyan armies. Kill Qaddafi’s son.
