It’s hard to be a conservative and to not, on a daily basis, find countless examples of the MSM’s bias in favor of the liberal/progressive agenda, and in opposition to Constitutional conservatism (in fact, it’s one of the major reasons we started this site). It’s even harder to comprehend what passes for “logic” in the liberal mindset. Whether it was John Kerry’s “I voted for it before I voted against it;” or Nancy Pelosi’s “We have to pass the bill to find out what’s in it;” or Kathleen Sebelious, who when asked under Congressional questioning whether the $500 billion Medicare Doc Fix should be counted as savings for the Medicare Program or ObamaCare, answered, without blinking an eye, “Both.”
But this one takes the cake. One of my unenviable tasks each day is to peruse the stories that are featured on the Yahoo! homepage. I engage in this arduous task for one reason and one reason only – it gives me an idea of what the liberal media’s meme is for the day. So, upon engaging in said task today, I perused this article on the ongoing dispute between Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker and the 14 Senate Dems who fled the state so that they couldn’t be coerced to come to the state capitol and actually do the job they were elected to do.
And in the midst of that article, I came upon a quote that may be the ultimate epitome of liberal hypocrisy and brazeness. In response to inquiries as to the state of negotiations between the State Senators who have fled the state and haven’t been at their job(s) for going on three weeks now, State Senator Lena Taylor was quoted as saying:
“I ask the governor, ‘do your job.”
Do your job? From the lips of someone who has fled the state for 3 weeks to avoid doing her?
Are you serious?
Makes one wonder sometimes about the sentienty of some of our friends on the Left.
