Our agents are being armed with bean bags and murdered on the border. Our Federal agencies are complicit in the shipment of weapons to criminal gangs.
Muslim extremists are killing our troops. Oil prices are climbing.
State legislators are fleeing their states to avoid important votes. A Federal Judge has declared Obamacare unconstitutional and his order has been virtually ignored by the administration. Our federal budget (or what it would be if it existed) is insane and unsustainable.
Finally, Obama has a press conference with Calderon and the press gets one question. Just one. Ben Feller of the AP knows that he has to make it count. So what does he ask? He makes it a two parter so he can cover more ground. First part, are you actually considering establishing a no-fly zone over Libya? (short answer: All options are on the table. – I’ll bet you didn’t see that coming, did you?)
And then, the coup de grace. The question in which Mr. Feller establishes himself as a
lapdog of the administration serious journalist.
via Real Clear Politics: Ben Feller of the AP asks President Obama:
“The other topic is something that is quite different, but does matter to millions of Americans. The National Football League is on the brink of a complete shutdown as of tonight over a labor dispute. Obviously, that’s an economic issue for cities but also something that a lot of people just care about. I’m wondering if it’s something that you’d be willing to personally intervene on and if not, why not?”
You guys can go right on Winning The Future with your jug eared President. We’re going elsewhere for our news. Thumbsuckers.
