Two recent Congressional Research Service reports highlight the civilian casualties of the drug cartels in Cuidad Juarez and civilian casualties of the
Global War on Terror “man-caused disaster resulting in an overseas contingency operation” in Afghanistan.
More civilians were killed last year in Ciudad Juarez, the Mexican city across the border from El Paso, Texas, than were killed in all of Afghanistan.
There were 3,111 civilians murdered in the city of Juarez in 2010 and 2,421 in the entire country of Afghanistan.
On a per capita basis, a civilian was 30 times more likely to be murdered last year in Juarez…

Well, if said headlines didn’t work to thwart the liberal agenda you would.
