Radio talk show entrepreneur Laura Ingraham has written another book, “Billionaire at the Barricades: The Populist Revolution from Reagan to Trump.” It is a nice summary of the evolution of our conservative movement from President Ronald Reagan up through the present.
But, upon reading the index, critical words are missing: Precinct Committeeman, Republican Party
Laura Ingraham means well. So do many other well-known members of our party. They do say, “get involved.” The problem is the vagueness of those two words. Most people don’t know how to get involved.
The goal of the precinct committeeman project is to get people from the grassroots involved in the Republican Party at the local level. Ultimately, all politics are local. Yes, there can be some outside help, but that’s only assistance, not an absolute. What we do know for sure, and David Brat, VA-07, proved it – is that boots on the ground, the grassroots, and a grassroots candidate can get the job done.
When one is a precinct committeeman they are able to participate in electing Republican Party Committee officers.
Too often, many of our own party, leaders and elected officials, don’t understand what it really takes to get a victory. Especially if we want to make major changes in the party.
David Brat’s victory happened because of this formula:
Awesome conservative primary challenger +
Awesome conservative precinct committeemen willing to help Get Out The Vote (“GOTV”) for the candidate +
Awesome conservative campaign volunteers willing to help Get Out The Vote (“GOTV”) for the candidate +
Awesome conservative GOTV/Campaign software (rVotes.com) allowing the PCs and volunteers to personally contact the “lower information, lower propensity” conservative voters (Republicans and Independents) to GO VOTE for the best conservative candidate in the all-important, traditionally-very-low-turnout Republican primary election =
Victory in the primary elections for the best conservative Republican candidates.
Only a few conservative candidates (Dave Brat did – he used rVotes) “get” this fundamental, common sense fact: the candidate who wins is the candidate who gets the most voters to the polls. So we need to focus on how to DO that.
I know how to do that. I have done it for candidates in my precinct and in my legislative district. Two of our past presidents did it. Yes, Abraham Lincoln and Harry Truman. They worked from the ground up.
Google it. (Harry Truman, Abraham Lincoln precinct committeeman) Then go to Amazon.com and search: book trump schultz help make America great again. Or just go here.
If you are willing to invest about three hours per month to save our Republic for you and your offspring, please either read my prior Breitbart.com articles or order, and then read and study, my most recent very short book.
After you learn about how you can make a difference, then you can be proactive. This will truly make a difference, and ultimately you’ll see more David Brats in office – working for the people, not against them.
My new paperback, and eBook, at Amazon to best help conservatives help President Trump (and best help themselves), How To Get Into The Real Ball Game Of Politics Where You Live To Help President Donald J. Trump Make America Great Again, is here. Way back in 1978 I graduated from the United States Military Academy and thereafter served on active duty as an Army Human Intelligence Officer and Counterintelligence Officer. I am an attorney and these views are my own and no reflection of my current employer. I have been a been a Republican Party precinct committeeman since 2007 and was a co-winner of the Conservative HQ Liberty Prize based on my e-book Taking Back Your Government: The Neighborhood Precinct Committeeman Strategy.
