More news from the Trump Team on the US agency probably most hated by conservatives and one that has caused untold misery and loss of thousands of jobs.

Last week we learned Trump had ordered a complete media blackout of the EPA, including a  halt to contracts and social media posts. There have been reports of their employees coming and going to work in tears because knowing what the Trump win would mean to the agency.

Now he’s gone the step further most conservative had hoped: the intent of cutting in half the number of EPA employees, which is currently estimated at around 15,000. According to this tweeter, the agency will be offering counseling:

Myron Ebell, Trump’s EPA transitioner has apparently proclaimed my work is done here and is heading back to his position as director of the Center for Energy and Environment at the Competitive Enterprise Institute. He had this to say:

“Let’s aim for half and see how it works out, and then maybe we’ll want to go further,”

Trump has nominated Oklahoma’s attorney general Scott Pruitt to head EPA, but he has yet to be confirmed.

Best comment I’ve seen on Breitbart’s article on this:
