I certainly cannot predict what 2017 will be like but I know for sure 2016 was one of the best years of my life. The Trump Movement was what we’d hoped it would be for close to a decade. The people rose up and said “Enough!” to the UniParty that mocked us, called us names, and passed everything Obama could ever dream of getting from an “opposition party”. We finally said enough, we picked the form of the UniParty’s DESTRUCTOR
Trump’s victories are not due his personal qualities (which are seldom overrated by his supporters) so much as to the extraordinary weakness of what establishment conservatism has stood for and promises. For some tens of millions of American voters, it matters less that Trump is clearly not well versed in policy nuances than that he has somehow identified and targeted the weakest points of establishment conservatism.
For what has the establishment GOP accomplished for its voters—excepting those in its well-nurtured class of consultants and lobbyists? In early 2015, the veteran pollster and Democratic consultant Pat Caddell analyzed a poll of Republican and Independent voters, and was shocked by the widespread animosity respondents expressed towards their own leaders. “The GOP leadership, the lawyers, the lobbyists, the consultant class of the Republican party don’t understand that these people are angry” Caddell said, continuing “I’ve never seen anything like this at the base of a party. And that is why the analogy to the Whigs is not so far-fetched.” This was six months before Trump walked down the escalator at Trump Tower.
The fact that both the GOP and DNC flipped out over Donald J Trump’s historic win is proof that he was the right man, at the right time for the rebuilding of this great nation. Will he do everything I want? Of course not, I’m not a populist, I’m a nationalist. I don’t have any illusions of what may or may not be done. I’ll be pretty satisfied with building the wall, removing all the regulations passed in the past two decades, and stopping the tax exemptions for dishonest 501c3s and 4s and NGOs. This was done by people like you and I, taking a baseball bat to the knees of the UniParty, If we have to, the deplorables will come back with a bat to the head.
President-elect Donald Trump’s top strategist sat for a rare radio interview Friday morning, urging conservative voters to ‘hold people accountable’ in the White House – including himself – as the new administration gets off the ground.
Steve Bannon, Trump’s senior counselor – soon to be right-wing Americans’ avatar in the West Wing – said afterward that he specifically wants Trump’s base to hold his feet to the fire as he steers the president’s strategic ship through waters infested with Democrats and moderate Republicans alike.
‘Deplorables and Hobbits should stay engaged and hold ALL of us accountable – including me,’ Bannon told DailyMail.com in a text message.
Happy New Year my fellow Deplorables! Hope to see you at the DeploraBall.
