The Public Interest Group and Blogger Strategies vs. the “We the People” Strategy

The Constitution begins with “We the People.” “We the People” ordained the Constitution and “We the People” must enforce it. If “We the People” do not act to enforce it, it will be ignored by the people we elect — as it has been.

How best do “We the Conservative People” force our elected public servants to follow the Constitution? By organizing locally in our respective communities inside the Republican Party as precinct committeemen and precinct committeemen volunteers (there are only so many coveted precinct committeemen positions inside the Republican Party — they are coveted because precinct committeemen, and only precinct committeemen, elect the Party officers and can vote to endorse candidates (if allowed by local committee bylaws).

Some “public interest” groups will tell you, “no worries, just send us money, we’ll be able to persuade the “policymakers” with our superior intellect and arguments! How’s that model been working out so far?

[You may be asking yourself, "Why should I read further? Who is this yahoo? Good question. I'm just someone with common sense, knowledge of what I speak, and a West Point grad who was an Intelligence Officer in the U.S. Army who studied and did "Cold War" battle against our commie/progressive/collectivist adversaries -- I know the ideology of our adversaries and I know how they think and what they believe.]

Here is a graphic that shows the failed “Public Interest Group” model. Well-intentioned (?) people who think they can change the “hearts and minds” of the commie/progressive/collectivist likes of Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi. Ain’t gonna happen. “Post-modernists” believe in nothing like we normal people do — they do not believe in God (they will say they do) and they do not believe objective truth exists. They believe, as Mao said, “Power comes out of the barrel of a gun.” These people will not be swayed by arguments, facts or logic. The only way to impact them is to replace them at the ballot box. Are you up to the task?

Others think that blogging all day, every day, to the conservative choir will somehow magically change the outcome of the elections. And isn’t that our goal? Don’t we conservatives want to CHANGE THE OUTCOME OF THE ELECTIONS?????

Here’s a graphic that explains why the “blogging strategy” won’t work:

Folks, if you want to change the outcome of the elections, and change the behavior of the incumbents, you have to get out of the ineffectual “bleachers” of politics and get into the real ball game of politics. That game is played by precinct committeemen inside the two major parties. Are you one? If not, you better become one. Or you will lose your country.

So, are you going to get your ass out of your chair and in gear and “do something” real to save your country? Are you going to become a ball player in the real ball game of politics — party politics? Are you man, or woman, enough?

Sorry, there is no cavalry. There’s no “silver bullet” that will fix things. If you want the America you once knew back, YOU have to do something about it. And it doesn’t involve sending money to some public interest group. And it doesn’t involve blogging. Or complaining. It involves ACTION. Well? Are you going to ACT?

You’ve been told.

Here’s how the “Power Chart” really flows — if we show up in droves and tell our public servants that they work for us, and not the other way around. What are YOU going to do to make that happen?

Which of these two Republican Parties would you like — the existing one, that’s half-strength and ideologically split, or a full-strength, conservative one? And, again, what are YOU going to do about it?

How do we conservatives best UNITE politically? We’re scattered. The obvious answer is to UNITE POLITICALLY WHERE IT MATTERS — inside a POLITICAL party. And the BEST place to do that, and the BEST way to do that, is by becoming a Republican Party precinct committeeman.

Go here to read about the success we’ve had in Arizona:

Will you fight? Go to your local Republican Party committee meeting and learn how. Can you at least attend one monthly meeting and say, “Please tell me how to become a voting member of the Republican Party and help Get Out The Vote for Republican candidates?” Is your future, and the future of your kids and grandkids, worth at least that amount of time and effort?

For Liberty,

  1. Yes, yes, yes & amen, brother!

Folks (if you’re still ‘on the fence’) this isn’t hard, isn’t time-consuming, but is fun! And meaningful! Get out the phone book or check the web, track down your county chair and make the call. If I could do it for you I would, but I can’t so you have to.

Play your cards right and you’ll see your name on next election’s ballot, and soon afterward you can proudly say ‘I was a Precinct Committeeman before it was cool!’.

Please turn off the computer and get to work, right now, today! Thanks! And, cheers!

    Great presentation ColdWarrior!

I’ll be at my county GOP meeting tonight. Also scheduled to attend State Assembly District meeting next Thursday. So far involvement has been fun and easy.
